Mono Strikes Again

Even those most medical experts would tell you that mono, or mononucleosis, is something you can only get once, when pressed they will admit that it can possibly recur, because technically, the virus stays in your body the rest of your life.

Well, my son has been hospitalized TWICE for mono, and we have just returned from the doctor today, who after examining my son, who is 20, and evaluating his symptoms, says to him, I think you have mono.

My son has now joined the crowd. My daughters and I have already had reasons for doctors to tell us "this is so unusual," and "you almost never hear of this."

It may be time to start writing my own medical journal!
